SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS FOR TODAY.

Normally we ship books under "free matter for the blind and handicapped" which is free to all parties by postal regulations.  However, free matter these days is being treated like media mail and can take weeks, sometimes several weeks, to arrive after shipment.  Also, the Post Office will not allow us to tag the box with shipping notification or signature card notification, which means we have no way to verify if the shipment actually arrived at your school.  Therefore we can not guarantee any shipment if the Post Office mishandles or loses the box or boxes of books.  Another evil of this system is we can not insure the shipment, so there is no coverage whatever.  This creates a serious problem for everyone.  We now suggest to everyone to pick another source of shipping, i.e., FedEx ground, UPS ground, DHL ground, etc.  If you pick this method of shipping it will be necessary to add 20% to the total of the purchase order.  By this means you are assured of receiving your order.  Thank you for being patient.  We will do our best to help.

Prices are increasing in almost every product we use to produce large print books due to the economic conditions of the day. Effective May, 2008 we also must increase our prices to continue in operation in spite of the fact we hold out to the very last moment.  We hate price changes but sometimes are forced to make a change - this is one of those times.  The new rate per page is .36 cents.
